GAS REBATE CREDIT CARDS HELP YOU SAVE MONEY ON INEVITABLE COSTS

Gas rebate credit cards work in a very similar way to cash back credit cards but there are some obvious and useful differences. With a cash back credit card you will usually receive a check pertaining to the value
of your reward on an annual basis but with a gas rebate credit card you will see the advantages much quicker than that. Most provide you with your rebate on a monthly basis.

Some credit card companies may only offer rebates at particular gas stations whereas others will honor any purchase of gas that you make from any gas station. Obviously, if you always use the same gas station then you can opt for either and hunt around for the best deal.

There are other restrictions that lenders may place on a gas rebate credit card. Some companies will not offer a rebate if you spend over a certain amount every year whereas other companies will only offer rebates when you pay at the pump. Selecting the right credit card is all about personal preference and the way you use any existing credit card.

Many companies offer rebates on any purchase that you make while another credit card company might only offer rebates when you actually buy gas. You will usually be looking at approximately a 3% rebate any all purchases but there are stepped deals available that mean you will receive a higher percentage as an introductory offer, and this rate will lower over time.

Also, some credit card companies offer different percentages depending on the product you purchase. It is not unusual to see companies offering 3% for gas purchases and 2% for all other purchases.

As you can see there is a lot of choice when it comes to selecting a gas rebate credit card and selecting the right one will be the key to making the most of this opportunity. Consider your current credit card, how often you use it to purchase gas and other products and which gas stations you use.
